FERTILITY FESTIVAL: “THE MAIN SHRINES”-Shinmeisha and Tagata-Shrine.

In this slide are pictures from Shinmeisha and Tagata-Shrine. According to our handout, Tagata Shrine is situated in the village of Ajioka Aichi prefecture. Tagata means Rice Field country.

It is that the festival is centered at a procession were it starts at a shinto shrine in the neighborhood.

The first few pictures were taken at Shinmeisha and the others, towards the end were from Tagata-Shrine.
