More pictures of the Imperial Palace and it’s surroundings. I like how these pictures tell how Japan changed overtime and became more westernized, but at the same time keeping in touch with their roots. For instance, the one with the old fashioned architectual style building versus the more modern style building with the tree at the center of the picture. With this picture, it somewhat symbolizes how a tree’s lifespan (generally speaking) may see, experience and go through the many changes of the world. Hence, the old meets the new.
